# SYLLABUS:

MODULE-I         :   Scripts and variables

Getting started – Scripts – Making variables – Variable types – Scalars- arrays – Matrices- operations with variables- Basic plotting

# Experiment (s):

1. Addition, Subtraction, multiplication, division, inverse operations on matrices with different order . Removing Rows or Columns from a Matrix.
2. Plotting waveforms for trigonometric functions.

MODULE-II        :   Visualization and Programming

Functions –Relational operators – IF / ELSE / ELSEIF Loops – FOR/ WHILE Loops – Flow control – Line Plots – Image/ Surface Plots – Effective Codes- Vectorization – preallocation-  Display- Debugging.

# Experiment (s):

1. a) Find the first 20 prime numbers  b) if the input number is prime or not identification c) Count EVEN and ODD numbers
2.  Solution to mathematical methods (iterative techniques) .

MODULE-III   :  Solving Equations, Curve Fitting, and Numerical Techniques

Linear Algebra – Polynomials – operation and fitting – Optimization – Differentiation – integration – differential Equations.

Probability and statistics –Probability- Changing Mean and Variance – Data Structures -Cells: organization- initialization- Struct Arrays – Images – Reading/Writing Images – File I/O – Writing Excel Files – Reading Excel Files Various functions and toolboxes : Miscellaneous Matlab – Making GUIs – Draw the GUI – Add Functionality to M-File – GUI Helper Functions
