Abstract:
The objective of this project is to inform the power failure and voltage fluctuations to TNEB station automatically using DTMF tones on Interactive voice response (IVRS) complaint center. If any one of the house or industry power is failed or voltage fluctuation this system will automatically make a voice call to TNEB complaint center from registered mobile number and play the DTMF tones at predefined timing to place a corresponding complaint at TNEB. In this project we will use embedded system to do these operations. The subscriber kit consists of PIC microcontroller, DTMF encoder, GSM modem and Power fault sensor.
This project continuously monitors the power presence and measures the voltage constantly using Analog to digital convertor in microcontroller. Microcontroller manipulates the data, if any issue found, it send command to GSM modem via RS232 port to make a call to TNEB IVRS complaint center. And play the corresponding DTMF tones at predefined timing to make complaint.
