In this project the voltage-fed high-frequency series resonant inverter with a lossless snubber capacitor and an auxiliary capacitor switched cell is used for induction heating applications. By the use of capacitor clamped half-bridge high frequency inverter, high power can be obtained for induction heating. The operation principle is based on the pulse width modulation control. Here asymmetrical duty cycle pulse width modulation control scheme is proposed. The hardware will be implemented on PIC16F877A. By the use of High frequency switching circuit the size of the inverter is reduced.
